Until now the ShiftControl console looked the same for everyone. Now it looks like you. Set your company’s logo in Org Settings and it takes over the header, so the moment you land in the console you know whose data you’re looking at.
You don’t have to do anything to get a decent starting point, either. We derive a logo from your primary domain automatically, and fall back to your company’s initials if we can’t find one.
How It Works
- Set it once in Settings → Org Settings. It’s the same logo picker your apps already use: search by brand name, or upload your own PNG or JPG.
- Sensible defaults, never a blank box. No logo set? We look up your Google Workspace primary domain first, then your sign-in domain, then fall back to two initials from your organization name.
- Your upload always wins. A custom logo outranks anything we derive, and clearing it returns you to the derived default rather than to nothing.
- Reads correctly in light and dark mode, and a logo URL that stops resolving falls back to initials instead of a broken image.
- Digital cards start from it. When you set up a card template, your org logo comes in as the default. Override it per template whenever you want a different mark on cards than in the console.
- The color strip stays for multi-org admins. Manage more than one organization and the per-org accent stripe is still there to tell them apart at a glance. Manage one, and the stripe is gone, because there’s nothing to disambiguate.
Getting Started
- Head to Settings → Org Settings.
- Open the logo picker.
- Search for your company by name, or switch to the upload tab and drop in a PNG or JPG at 150×150 or larger.
- Save. The header updates without a reload.
ShiftControl’s own mark has moved to the bottom of the sidebar, so the top of the screen belongs to you. More of your brand in more places is on the way.
