You can now see at a glance whether a Google Workspace user has a pending password reset, has never logged in, or needs to accept the Terms of Service. These show up right in the user list and user detail views.
Previously, Google users just showed “Active” or “Suspended” with no additional context. JumpCloud users already had rich status badges (password pending, activation email sent, locked out), but Google users were a blank slate. You’d have to check the Google Admin console separately to know if someone had actually logged in.
Now, ShiftControl reads Google’s user profile fields and surfaces them as status badges:
- Password Reset Pending: the user needs to change their password on next login
- Never Logged In: the account was created but the user hasn’t signed in yet
- Pending Acceptance: the user hasn’t accepted the Terms of Service
These badges appear in both the Manage Users table and the user detail header, so you can spot onboarding gaps without leaving ShiftControl.
